With an optimally located site on the shores of the Oosterschelde marine nature reserve in the Netherlands servicing the EU market daily, full cycle hatchery, an on site R&D facility, and an advanced grow-out system; and a 2nd site in development in Jonesport Maine for the US market, The Kingfish Company is a first mover operating at the cutting edge of sustainable, land based, high value marine aquaculture in the EU and the US.

The Dutch Yellowtail is soon available fresh from Maine all year round, with daily deliveries across the US.

Kingfish Zeeland
Kingfish Zeeland is gevestigd in de provincie Zeeland en maakt gebruik van het pure zeewater van de Oosterschelde, een Natura 2000-natuurreservaat, om een gezonde, antibioticavrije delicatesse te kweken: de Dutch Yellowtail (seriola lalandi/Pacific Yellowtail/Hiramasa, vaak als synoniem van de nauw verwante vis Hamachi gebruikt).
Onze Dutch Yellowtail is een hoogwaardige vis die als sashimi, sushi of ceviche kan worden bereid of kan worden gegrild, gebakken of gerookt. Bovendien wordt de vis door de Good Fish Foundation aanbevolen als ‘groene keuze’ op de Viswijzer: een uitstekend en duurzaam alternatief. De vis is nu het hele jaar door in Nederland beschikbaar als versproduct. Er worden dagelijks leveringen in heel Europa uitgevoerd.

Milestones reached
